It's called Outlook.com these days. I suspect that they changed the name because Outlook Express had so many problems. Eventually, MS forced us to accept it.
Outllook.com is a web email link and the only thing in common with Outlook Express is the name Outlook. Outlook is a desktop client for email as is Windows live mail and Outlook Express and the Vista Windows mail. Outlook.com replaced Hotmail.com.
