Update Tuesday comes and goes

I suppose something that might hurt the evaluation of the new build, is some folks installed the 1909 .iso file and had been on 1909 for a while. Could there be a difference between those folks, and we know who they are, and the normal pubic build upgrade process..

I have 3 MRST installs right now and I know at least 1 was done before the feature upgrade. I do show a (2) after the feature update..

@bassfisher6522 As far as I know, I just have the normal Edge, I never downloaded the Chrominum version..

IDK, but I will check my last remaining machine that is on the Release Preview Ring and is running 1909 18363

The install that I'm currently having some issues with was done on a 1903 18362 plain brown wrapper everyone has it build.

I'm running the Edge Chromium latest and it has a big BETA stamp across it's Icon, so I'm pretty sure that 1909 doesn't have it as part of the install natively but you can test drive it whenever you want from the Edge Insider Program

That won't be rolled out until January 15, 2020 — and then it'll be throttled, meaning some won't get it immediately.

Also noticing that the MSRT (Malicious Software Removal Tool) does not seem to appreciate the fact that it has been successfully installed 4 (four) times now.

2012 Dell Inspiron 660 has 5 times (?). Maybe I should stop clicking on 'check for updates'
1903 18362.476 updated to 1909 18363.476 today.

Where did you find the ISO.
I checked the normal Update page resource and it is still referencing May 2019

Just finished updating all three of my computers to 1909 via WU with no problems.

Where did you find the ISO.

The upgrade tool shows 1909 but the files in the .iso show 1903. I think they will just use a later version of 1903 and then let the normal Windows update finish it off for the 1909 build. There is a rumor someone is trying to start, but I am completely ignoring it,,,

I am not trying to tease a rumor, I just think it is a little ridiculous, but it does pertain to an early release of a future build for the public..

I have only seen it in one place and it was probably someone trying to stir something up...

You mean the one about 20H1, which we're not suppose to get until April next year being made publicly available by the end of this year??

Not sure what something like that would do to the Insider Program, as they've removed Skip Ahead ring and I've not heard much about 20H2, so.....
I don't see, from a purely practical understanding, how that might ever happen.

Some of my info is a little outdated. Yesterday I got one of those Insider bulletins. It mentioned moving the slow ring to 20H1 but I thought they had done that earlier.. The only thought I might have regarding the suspicious rumor is 19H2 was a basic non-event.. Maybe they want to get a head start of 20H2 so they can move all the Insiders into that..

All I really know is I don't like wondering if some new build will come out of nowhere and wipe my system before I had a chance to back it up..

The ISO that I created with the Mediacreationtool1909 was indeed the 1909 when installed. However I am thinking it may actually be the 1903, the date changed in certain places to make it look like a 1909. Since both builds seem to run parallel with the build numbers that thought might not be too far fetched. After all, 1909 is not a real feature update anyway but a maintenance update (also known as Service Pack).
The real feature upgrade is most likely coming in spring 2020....

4 computers, three AMD based, one Intel. AMD updatage to 1909 went smoothly on the three mentioned, Intel updatage is being a MF'r, looooooooong time waiting to complete, I mean really looooong time. Still waiting....Jeesh. No problems with theother units, 1909 is running smoothly on those...
