Thanks for cluing me in. I do not think the OP is following this though as he sounds like a 10 hater who was just flinging hate and left quickly. He joined today left this one post and has not been heard from since.

Just because the thread derails a bit or there are disagreements within, doesn't necessarily qualify a thread to be locked. Locking threads for just any reason, can be just as damaging to a Forum as letting them go unchecked.

Same old.
Another thread to close.
I do wish, ht, that you would get off this IE bandwagon and your pride, and merely admit to the difference of disabling/turning off, and removing.
Perhaps, now the point has been thrashed out in two overlong threads, you could continue your argument in a conversation. It is not good publicity for the forums to have arguments such as this, in public view. .

Dream on.
He will never admit it.
He even claimed that a Mod in http://www.tenforums.com/ said so, and asked me if I was calling the Mod a liar.
I told him to produce a link to that effect. I am still waiting for that link.

It would be hell freezes over before I struke up a conversation with him.
The ONLY reason I responded is NOT to let him mislead others who might not know any better and take his word for it.

As I have just stated in you other post, if you have a contentious issue, regarding the contents of another member post, then the correct way is to file it under the "Report" option.

This issue has come up so many times on the forum in the past week, and I've got no idea why it has become such an issue. I've moved the posts in this thread out of the previous unrelated post and created this new thread. I'm locking this thread as we're just going around in circles for what is a very minor detail - some IE11 files remain on the system when disabling/uninstalling it, but that is semantics. I really don't want to see this cropping up time and time again.

FWIW, I'm not sure what the folder options screenshot is meant to show - I have IE11 installed and my screenshot appears identical in content:

@hTconeM9user - I understand your frustration, but as you keep pressing this issue about uninstalling IE11 I can't sit on the fence. I don't think that IE11 can be completely removed as you suggest, merely disabled (i.e. the files are still on the system, but it's not active and running). I wouldn't have thought this would make any difference to anyone reading the thread, but you suggest that your method is different to disabling IE11. Also, I don't think that the "folder options" screenshot shows anything to do with IE11 (unless I am missing something?) - you can see from mine about that it is identical and yet I'm posting this in IE11.

Please take this in the manor in which it is intended - a friendly suggestion that the whole disable/uninstall issue matters very little when it comes to wording, but if you post something that a lot of users would disagree with then this issue will keep repeating itself, which isn't going to help anyone.
