SSD isn't showing up on file explorer

My new 2TB SSD isn't appearing in File Explorer, but it does show up in Disk Manager as an online disk. I cant delete or format any partitions. it says the disk is nonexistent.
I also tried using Diskpart to clean the disk, but it reports that the specified disk is nonexistent. Does anyone know how to fix this?

How is the drive connected to the computer? If it's an internal drive does the BIOS recognize it?
