Hey Dave, is there any chance your system has a special boot key which might account for what you see?

All of this stuff more than likely depends on the system, OEM or not, and configuration set up during the install/upgrade. As far as I know, the preview builds have not made any changes to these processes.

In the last few minutes, I have just completed a fresh install of Windows 10 on my wife's machine (4 year old Vostro i5). No tricks, no software installed. I am still getting the full trouble shooting Gui as Trouble, with shift restart, through the desktop or the login screen.
I cannot see that it can be graphic driver dependent, but, fwiw, this is a Nvidea 3100.
