Sounds like a virus according to the link you posted, have you run your AV software?. Which one do you use?. :)

I use Avast. But I scan monthly with 7 other malware detectors, and that is how Emsisoft came to alert me to SDW. Right now I would like to
manually delete that SDW if deletion does not damage Windows.

KJ is part of a program which can be installed and run to obtain illegal windows keys. It can also pirate any Genuine keys on your computer.
If you know nothing about it, I would suggest you delete the whole folder (KJ)

I have moved \KJ\ to the desktop, for total deletion once I'm confident the PC works well without it. I'm assuming that when KJ is out of \Windows\, it has been disabled.
The occasional blue-screen-requiring-a-reboot appears to have been replaced by the occasional mouse-freeze-requiring-a-reboot !
