"Onn" Brand Bluetooth Speaker Trouble

Hi

I'm using an Onn brand bluetooth speaker from Wal-Mart. Currently, I cannot use the volume control buttons on my laptop to control the volume when connected to the speaker. I can only use the volume control buttons that are physically on the speaker. When using the buttons on the speaker, it brings the volume up by 6. If I try to use the volume buttons on my laptop, it will do nothing, unless I bring it all the way down to 0 or mute the audio. Has anyone ever experienced anything like this with any speakers or bluetooth devices? I'm just trying to be able to adjust my volume with my laptop keyboard is all. Thanks!

Have to agree as the OS usually controls the sound adapter after the Hardware [Fx keys] has been adjusted. Notebooks usually have both but Desktops may not have the hardware control on the keyboard.
