SOLVED Cannot connect to wifi with WPA2-EAP security

our WLAN with WPA2_EAP security cannot be accessed by Win10 machines.
In the event log there are 2 errors that appear consistently when trying to connect:
Eap method DLL path validation failed. Error: typeId=25, authorId=9, vendorId=0, vendorType=0
Eap method DLL path validation failed. Error: typeId=17, authorId=9, vendorId=0, vendorType=0
Connecting to WLAN with WPA2-Personal is issue free.
I have never had any Cisco software installed on the laptop.
EAP method is PEAP-EAP-MSCHAPv2.
No other devices currently in use have troubles connecting wirelessly to the network.

I have never used an Enterprise key to connect....

Neither did I...
However, the AP's firmware was upgraded and that solved the issue
