Issues after router change

Went though all the documents and checked everything that I could see on both machines sitting side by side. No noticeable change. I can see EVERYTHING on Laptop from the Desktop but the Laptop sees the Drives and folders but need permissions; contact administrator ( who is me on both ). Maybe it is one being wi-fi and the other on a lan cable.

Will keep at it as I get the time. Doing a bit of a reno.

You are using the exact same username and password to authenticate on both machines?

Couple of typing errors; sorry; not being asked to sign in now, but when I was I used the log-in username and password for each machine.
I also meant that I was the admin on both machines.
