Again, every time i get spam or porn or what ever I open to view (Not READ) then click move to junk. then you have to shutdown email and reopen to have the next of that always go to JUNK. next you can open and set ALL JUNK to instantly be deleted when you shut down.
Nothing hard, just takes a bit to do. this works on all MS EMail, Outlook and MS Mail. Im sure your threat - did lots. PS: I have never had any contoso.com emails. so wonder where you have been.

I chatted with a MS rep on this. Said contigo.com is Microsoft's.
As for your insinuation of where I've been... I don't do porn or visit hacker sites, how about yourself?

Actually, every email sent in bulk has an option to opt-out of it.
It is at the bottom of that email. Usually, it says "Unsubscribe from our email list".
Do that and tell us whether you get spam after that or not.

OR

You could get Outlook Addins for yourself like SPAM Bully or SPAM fighter.
They block such unwanted emails.

Better, justin, that you read the whole thread. A couple of warning regarding pressing ANY key, but particularly the "unsubscribe".
Another point, in regard to several suggestions here. Most of the spam I get is from non existent, or anonymous senders. Impossible to egt back to them.
What I do in Outlook, which is also not 100% efficient, is right click the offending Email and select Junk. In there is an option to block the sender and also the sender's domain.

I truly think that Microsoft should implement some kind of OS in-built ad-block and anti-spam software, with different custom filter in it. It will rock the whole digital world.

Travis, you hit he nail I've already set.
I've already tried talking to MS, they're rather aloof, to put it mildly.
I offered a definitive solution to ALL to issues like this and more but they said it was impossible to implement. I actually said, 'BS, you're just to lazy. Thanks for nothing' & hung up.
My solution has already worked and is usually used at us!!!
.
Folks, I tried, Microsoft simply I'll not. I've come to understand this, they've gotten to big, to powerful and that begat an ignorance far beyond anything I've ever run across EVER in my 60+ years.
