Ah, think I've found the solution. It is the Asus Monitor that needed its Settings readjusted !! I followed your suggestion and clicked the "All Reset" function. This definitely improved my Display colours somewhat. I then thought I've got to experiment and try all the different modes that this Monitor can be set to, and I've found one that is perfect for me. Its called "Scenery Mode" which is great for me, so I'm not sure if it would be necessary to get an HDMI cable, or whether this could be improved upon. Worth trying I guess, because VGA is a very old interface. Thanks for everybody's help, I really appreciate it !!
