Updated 7 machines of various ages through Windows Update.
Previous CU required manual updating of 3 of them.

Since the Cumulative Update, the backgroundTaskHost.exe has been crashing at least once a day !!!

What would be the fun in that?...that would render this great forum null and void.. what we all do with our time?
I'd have to start talking to the wife more, the honeydo list would grow exponentially and none of my friends would call with their pc woes.
So you see, it's honestly for the better.

it happened again, the multiple tries to install the most recent update:

I tried the Windows Update troubleshooter and it found "pending updates" but fixed them. Will see if the next one comes around if that issue is resolved.....
