It actually seems to be running strong and without issues.
At least that is my experience.

No.... that one would be too old.
NOTE: An insider build is an insider build and practically speaking is not going to be something that is free of bugs nor 100 percent stable, nor is it something that you should consider installing on your primary production machine.
The whole idea of the Insider Program is to test new offerings to determine what problems might exist and require attention before publicly releasing a finished product.

So a week without a fast ring build.
I'm thinking that, that does bode well when, everyone was kind of expecting that builds would be coming rapidly now, in the build up to the public release on October 17th.

you mean rescue disk?

No a backup image is a mirror image of your HDD.
A rescue disk is used to boot your PC should the normal boot fail.
To create a system image, you require at least a 64 GB Thumb Drive or an external USB HD.
I prefer the external USB HD as you can store several backup images. External 1TB HD are reatively cheap now approximately $80 CAN. (65 US).
There are many backup software programs out there to choose from, it's the users preference.
I use two, Acronis (paid) and Aomei Backupper Standard. Aomei is an excellent backup program it has many features and tools, and is very easy to understand and use.

Using Clonezilla to clone to another HDD of same size, is it a good idea?

You will have a spare drive with a cloned image of your HD, Cloning is a safety net, but regular system imaging would be a better option.

Saint Good choice, I know you can do it.f you can clone a drive you can create regular system images. Make sure you create a restore point, clean the junk from your HD, cookies browser history... then create a mirror image of your HD. Imaging is peace of mind.
