Build 16251

I re installed this POS and now it will boot but still will not go to sleep on it's own or wake up without a restart. Obvioulst the HUB is a useless Metro app along with the rest of them as I hve reported this over 27 times-still not fixed and no response.

I ended up going back to a 1703 Macrium backup, loading that. Catching up on updates ( itunes, Cumulatives etc) and then making a new backup. The hit windows update. It loaded 16241 which was interesting and took 1 hr ++ Then after a couple of reboots I hit WU again and down comes 16251. Which is now in the 'working on updates' phase so it will probably work. Probably be a bit over 1.5 hours when it is finished. It was 1 hr 45 minutes.

I wonder why each update gets longer...I bet they have some kind of bug in there. Something like, for every device it scans the whole catalog of devices. For every app the same.


One interesting thing in the update was being able to link ones phone with W10...problem is that the iPhone link is not done yet. I couldn't find anything else interesting to me in there.

16251 Release to Slow Ring today so I suspect we'll see that in ISO format soon.

UPDATE 8/2: We have released Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 16251 for PC to Windows Insiders in the Slow ring.

Don't feel bad, I've had nothing but gsod's since updating.

I have 16257 installed and I still can't get it to sleep. Some users it took 6 hours to install.
