It's looking like tomorrow for the next build so hopefully that particular update error won't cause problems when attempting to update the OS to a new build.
I doubt it will cause any issues updating to the next rs_prerelease, because the particular tool failing to install has only one purpose - that being for app developers to be able to monetize their apps by incorporating ads into their apps.
I have not yet dug up the book mark I was thinking of, however, I did find a more recent Microsoft Bulletin addressing the same issue, and it too explains how to use an additional tool to manually install the update.
That tool is called NuGet
