Block Windows 10 Creator Windows Update Service from downloading Hardware Driver updates

I thought I chime in, NVIDIA users make sure you are running 381.65 version drivers before upgrading https://www.ghacks.net/2017/04/07/n...1-65-with-windows-10-creators-update-support/

Just in case when upgrade is done you find some issue there, better be safe than sorry, however unlikely it can be.

Two questions, please:
1. When you say the GUI interface to update drivers is removed, are you talking about updating drivers from the Device Manager or something else? If something else, where would I look for it?
2. As a best practice, do you just update your hardware drivers directly from the manufacturer?
I guess that's 3 questions.
