It's mcafee leak , see belowI used the fix two days ago. I had blamed the recent blizzard for the issues since they started that day but then realized by ISP would probably have dealt with issues fairly quickly. I was constantly re-booting and Task Manager did not really help once things froze - except when I noticed the giant memory hug from SDK. I woke up today though and the darn thing has already re-enabled itself. Used the fix again and it worked, but this gets old really fast. How did it get on my computer in the first place?

Jason and all, your method works perfectly - I did find a "shortcut" to save rebooting. When you right click properties and check the path to McAfee in the open box you should see "startup type" about mid page. I was able to switch the service to disabled from there. Then when I restarted the memory was fine and I didn't have to search back to local services again. I really appreciate your help.Jason , This solved the problem for me. Found on community mcafee thread above
1. Reboot (see step 5).
2. Open your Services (local) either from Admin Tools or from Windows Settings - Search "services" - View Local Services.
3. Find ClientAnalyticsService.
4. To verify that you are dealing with the McAfee analytics service, right-click Properties and check that the path to executable reads:
>"C:\Program Files\Common Files\McAfee\ClientAnalytics\Legacy\McClientAnalytics.exe"
5. To turn off the service, change Startup type from Manual to Disabled. This only seems to work after a fresh reboot; otherwise, it will just hang on "stopping..."
6. With the service now disabled, reboot again.
