Hi all,
I accidently opened power iso last night, I closed it and then indos defender said "App blocked", It said Detected PUADlManager:Win32/Sepdot file: C:\Users\Joel\AppData\Roaming\PowerISO\Upgrade\PowerISO8-x64.exe

I uninstalled power iso, deleted the file folder it said and ran a scan with Malwarebytes.

Is my computer safe now?

I had the same issue installing PowerISO 8.0 . It is seen by Windows defender as potentially unwanted program (PUP/PUA). It is a false positive that MS can't get straightened out for some reason. I have PowerISO on my computer and it does not have any malware in it (I have the paid version though). The latest version is Version 8.6.
Windows defender detects it as "potentially", does not mean that it is. Not even Microsoft has any further Info on this "Threat". I have allowed it on my PC and never had any issues.

Even MalwareBytes see it as PUP:

McAfee, DrWeb, Trendmicro, Emsisoft, Bitdefender, Avast, even Symantec does not find anything
