Cloning and swapping boot drive

I have a venerable Dell Optiplex 755 with three internal drives, running Win 10 -

C: WD 931 Gb currently the boot drive with 267 Gb used.

F: An old WD 149 Gb for odd storage.

K: A new Kingston SSD 476 Gb with a failed system cloning, 72 Gb used.

On the C drive I have one very expensive validated program, which I cannot re-validate if I lose it.

What is the correct procedure for cloning C to K and installing K as the boot drive - keeping the validated program intact? What software would be best for the cloning?

Any thoughts, links or experience will be very welcome, thank you.
