Right now my .zip files association is WinZip and my free trial of WinZip is almost done and I don't want to buy it. What is the best and most secure Free program I can use to open .zip files?

Personally, my archive manager of choice is 7zip
http://www.7-zip.org/
They have both a 32 and 64 bit version, so use the one that is proper for your system architecture.
It adds a menu item to your right click context menu that I find very useful in many instances.

You may Know(?) Windows 10 has a built in zio program. But that is all it does. Zips, or unzips, files. No other options

Yes; I did change the file association for my .zip files to have Internet Explorer open my .zip files but I will now try 7zip. I did some research before asking the forum and 7zip is given a high rating among users so I did download it and will give it a try.
