When typing in a Word document (or Outlook), a section previously typed is randomly highlighted and, as I am watching the keyboard, it gets overwritten without my knowledge. Microsoft technicians said it was probably an Office 2007 conflict and that upgrading to Office 365 would cure it. It didn't, and they refunded the cost to me. Can anyone help, please?

Hitting the Fn key + Insert apparently seems to be the best solution.

MS should be aware of the problem as it's a common problem. Apparently MS are concerned more of pushing their products than customer service. That's pretty sad
