I've spent the last couple days searching many forums looking for help with no luck. It seems there are a lot of people with the same issue, but no good results.
Here are my issues:
- After updating Windows 10 my password is no longer recognized. I'm locked out and cannot access the computer.
- My password is tied with my Office Business Account.
- I am the administrator
- I changed the password online, using another computer, but still no luck.
- I do not have a recovery key or system image.
- Fortunately, everything was backed up using another program, so i only lost a couple days info.
- I have run every troubleshooter option on the system tab. I accessed this by; 1. hitting the power button once, then simultaneously pressing the shift key and selecting restart.
- Most troubleshoot options require a BitLocker key or system image, which i do not have.
- Since everything is backed up, I want to restore Windows and delete everything, then start over. When I select "Reset this PC," I get an error, "There was a problem resetting your PC."
Anyone have any suggestions? Obviously, I would prefer to find a way into the computer without deleting everything; however, if I have to delete all the files, then that is okay, too. Only thing is, how do i do it?
I'll definitely be making a system image and sorting through BitLocker issues as soon as I get this resolved!!!
Any support would be greatly appreciated!
