Windows Settings Close When Setting Default Video Player

Hi everyone,

I'm using Windows 10, and I'm attempting to set VLC as the default video player in the Windows Settings app under the Default page. Currently, the selection is empty. However, every time I try to set VLC or any other player, the Settings window keeps closing. Can anyone suggest a solution to this issue? Thank you.
