Hey people
I have a problem with my PC.
My antivirus ( ESET security) has been unintalled without my permission. It doesn't work at all(even when I open it). The ESET folder is empty but I can still see it on "Add or remove programs" but I Can't uninstall it.
When I try to open windows security I only see this :
<a href="https://ibb.co/stYpS3P"><img src="https://i.ibb.co/BwMHDsP/Untitled.png" alt="Untitled" border="0"></a

I think it is a problem with my system but I checked everything and it seems ok.
Should I reinstall Windows?
P.S-I cannot login to safe mode for unknown reasons ( Password incurrect)

From your screen shot.......I see you're using uTorrent. If you're going to use that......I highly recommend you have a 2nd system to use that site. uTorrent and BitTorrent are know for virus's and malwaer/spyware and all other kinds of nasty stuff.

At the very least, I would have a 2nd HDD installed and run a multi boot setup with a 2nd OS on it. This way the infection can't spread to your primary drive. That is if you don't move any corrupted files from 2nd drive to C drive.

If this were my PC....I would do a clean install. I wouldn't worry about trying to find the cause of infection. I would just bite the bullet and clean install.

I took a look at Eset's website and their Support pages.

While they seem to offer removal tools for about any Antivirus software you can think of, they have not provided one for their own software.

Given the image you posted, doing a clean install of Windows 10 would seem to me the best option.

Thank you for your quick response.
What is the best way to clean install windows? Via usb drive or just use the option "reset this pc"?

If you are able to open Settings Window | Update & Security | Recovery in order that you can select Reset This PC, then that ought to be work fine.

Personally, I prefer to do it using a USB.

Should you decide to do it using a USB pendrive, you'll need one that is at a minimum 8GB in capacity, as the current Windows build, is a little over 4 GB in size.

If you are not sure how to do this, you can refer to a post I made the other day here:

Thank you, will it keep my pre-installed apps like Dell's or Intel or do I need to reinstall them?

Any applications that came with Windows will be preserved.

Other apps will need to be re-installed.

first to log into safe mode- logo+R - type msconfig -- open boot -> click safe mode -- click apply - click OK - click start - then let it reboot - you are in safe mode.
