Windows screen saver not responding

Set up Control Panel 'personalization' to cause screen saver to come on in 10 minutes but it did not. Tried multiple approaches but none worked.?? I have been with comp. for 25 yrs. Know windows systems. Al my other comp. working fine. All [including this one] on windows 10.

My wife is having the same problem. She expects me to fix it but nothing I have tried works. This started after a big Win 10 update last week.

After waiting for several months and another Microsoft update the screensaver is working again. We have no idea why.
