I watched a video om how to get 2012 Windows movie maker and it worked. I want to save it as an mp4 file but where in videos it should have that its not there its just wlmv thats it. Please help if it is because i "pirated'' it please tell me.

Not sure if that comes under the category of pirating or "reverse engineering". There are many articles with instructions to download and install redundant versions of Windows software.
But, why bother. There may be compatibility problems. In this particular instance, for example, there are several free alternatives, which will work better for you in Windows 10.
