Windows freezes after few minutes

I had reset my laptop(using the reset button) last night and before shutting down i made sure that updates were installed and applied..this morning i turned on the computer and checked for updates again and it said that there are no updates.however,after a few minutes, my laptop froze..the cursor wont move at all..i cant even open task manager..please help

I would reboot and try a Restore, if that fails, try the native Windows troubleshooter. Settings > Update and Security > Troubleshoot.

Can you share the reason why you performed the "reset" initially?
Was it for the same reason "freezing"?
