One thing that is not mentioned there, is that, for any "sync" enthusiasts, it does not support it in Windows 10.
I am bemused by the reports of its eventual demise. It is a straightforward desktop Email "fetcher", and there is no apparent reason why it should not continue to be used as such, unless MS decide, in some way, to block its use.
There are reported difficulties, if you use outlook/Hotmail as your Email address. But these are easily overcome.
The "lack of support", is, in context, rather meaningless.
But, I have been a contented user of Live Mail for a long time. I have recently decided that I now only need a slimmed down alternative. I am playing with Windows Mail and finding it works fine for me.
