Windows Defender Scan Problem

On start up on my desktop, it tells me windows scanned my computer 3 times and nothing was found. But on my laptop it doesn't say it's scanned or not?.All I get is, set up one drive, but when I try, it doesn't do it and i can't dismiss the message.

Go to System>Notifications & Actions to change how you use notifications.

One Drive - Please provide a screen shots of what you first see and steps that you take.

I'll do the screen shot this week..thanks.. And no it doesn't scan on the laptop like it does on the desktop for some reason, I have to do a manual scan everytime.
