Hello everyone I have been trying to fix my windows 10 corrupted files but I have been unabled to recover it.
I tried every possible way of recovering using DISM commands, but to no avail. I tried also the sfc /scannow but as usual this command hardly ever fixes issues regarding corrupted files. I have tried using dism in several ways by specifying the location and the install.esd file from my usb flashdrive windows copy and even tried the health commands on powershell..still wont work.
The first command I tried and for all of them I get the same error message, which looks like this:

C:\WINDOWS\system32>DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool
Version: 10.0.10240.16384

Image Version: 10.0.10240.16384

Use the "Source" option to specify the location of the files that are required to restore the feature. For more information on specifying a source location, see http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=243077.

The DISM log file can be found at C:\WINDOWS\Logs\DISM\dism.log

I have heard people saying that I need to refresh my pc as a last solution and I don't want that since I have all my settings and programs migrated from the upgrade...

Can someone possibly analyze my dism.log file and advise me how to fix the problem? I have been reading on the web that there is a way of specifying the packages missing via command and then download them manually..

I am a software programmer, so it shouldn't be hard to explain me the step by step on how to fix it. I just cant figure out the logfiles..
Thanks in advance,
Romulo

I have this exact same Problem I upgraded from windows 8.1 to 10 everything has been fine but I had a problem
with dropbox gave me and error and crashed. So just as a check I ran sfc and it failed I then ran DISM and it failed also with that same

Error: 0x800f081f

of course nothing there worked for me. I have tried using a path to a windows 10 usb I made with DISM and I still get the same error.
