SOLVED Windows clipboard window disappears

When I press <Window><v> combination to bring up the Windows 10 clipboard window, it disappears as soon as I move the cursor over it! It stays visible otherwise but I am then unable to select an item.

I have tried a variety of mouse settings including X-Mouse Controls - it just changes how long it takes for the window to disappear.

Any ideas? Should I just disable the Microsoft Clipboard and use another 3rd party app?

Guess what! The latest Windows 10 update (KB4497934) installed today seems to have fixed it!
