SOLVED Windows cannot find...

A couple of days ago this message started appearing when I start/restart my laptop
Windows connot find.jpg

Anyone know what's causing this?

Try resetting Cortana
Settings -> Apps -> Scroll down as needed select Cortana -> Click link named "Advanced options"
Try the Repair button and or the Reset button
OR
You can try just simply toggling Off the "Runs at log-in" option.

Perfect! That was the problem. Thanks.
But... I don't think this is a new issue. It hadn't caught my attention before because it only displays briefly during start up. It will reappear if I touch any key before using the fingerprint reader.

These problems appeared after performing a system recovery.
IDK.. maybe it might have something to do with your issues. Perhaps you might consider checking manually for Windows Updates.

I know (if your laptop is a Lenovo) that there are some issues with Windows 10 and Lenovo involving the Biometric systems which might include the finger print reader.
ALSO
IF you have a WACOM tablet connected
That may be a contributing factor.
