Windows 7 Backup and recovery in Windows10

I am running windows 10 Home and recently had a hard drive crash, using System restore I was able to get my system up and running. The problem I have now is attempting to run Windows 7 Backup and Recovery. When I attempt to set up a backup to my Seagate expansion drive or to my DVD I get the following error, " The task object version is either unsupported or invalid." 0x80041313

 

[Trouble]

Seems like that error may be associated with the Windows Task Scheduler.

See if the suggestion by Kerberos, involving cleaning out registry errors associated with the Task Scheduler Cache, might help with your problem.
