I am not sure if this has been posted yet. I have a 7 year old laptop that was running on Vista when I purchased it. a couple years later I was working for Staples and was able to get a free copy of Windows 7. I was frustrated when I found out that I could not get a updated graphic's driver and Microsoft said that my pc was not compatible. Frustrated that my laptop will soon be obsolete and that HP no longer supports it, I searched for a solution. I came across the article yesterday and downloaded and installed Windows 10 last night. The only problem so far was that I had to change the display settings and I get a error message at boot-up (that I can make go away). Outside of that, the pc runs fine and maybe now I'll get another 4 or 5 years out of it. Here is the article for those interested. http://www.pcadvisor.co.uk/how-to/windows/how-install-windows-10-now-upgrade-gwx-3575135/
