I installed and was messing around with the options on 'Linux File Systems for Windows by Paragon'. I ended up "formatting new volumes" with EXT4 file types and I supposed forgot to unmount them and turned off my pc like normal.

The next day however I tried to boot up windows and the screen just went black for about 30 seconds and took me straight to the UEFI bios menu. Windows wont boot up anymore and the only way I can use my pc is via a recovery drive and Linux Ubuntu drive. I deleted these "EXT4 file type volumes" but alas it did nothin, Windows still is refusing to boot.

I've moved all my valuable files from my c: drive and just planning to reinstall windows, but was hoping someone would have a better resolution. Any reply helps a ton so thanks in advance.

Hi BTA,

go into BIOS/UEFI and look at boot options and see if there is a Linux entry as well as one for Windows. Then using the highlighter, highlight the Windows entry and look at the right side of the pane, it should say use + (plus) or - (minus) to move the Windows entry to the top!. It might also say press F5 or F6 or another key, it depends on the BIOS and mobo!. Once done, press F10 and save & exit. ;)
