Windows 10 stopped detecting second monitors

This morning, my Acer laptop just stopped detecting my second monitor (it worked fine for the 2ish weeks I've had Win 10). The monitor only had DVI capabilities, so I brought in my TV and set it up. Usually I connect it with an HDMI and it works fine. This time, it wouldn't detect my TV with neither the DVI or HDMI cables, so I'm assuming this isn't a hardware issue. It really was just completely random, but I'm wondering if there's something I need to update?
