After trying just about everything (installing drivers, reinstalling drivers, uninstalled network adapters, rebooted in safe mode....)
Finally found the solution:
1) Start Menu button
2) Settings
3) Update & Security
4) Go back to windows 8.1
5) Click yes
6) When it asks you why you are going back to windows 8.1 be sure to explain in all details why you are going back. Feel free to use interesting language.
