Hi there,
I have just purchased a new PC with Windows 10 and have just started to use Mail. Each new mail I compose is automatically adding the signature "Sent from Mail for Windows 10" - I have tried to turn off the option several times under Settings-Signature-Turn signature slider to "off" and ticked the "All accounts" box - every time I start a new mail I see that signature is still there and each time I go back to Settings the slider has switched itself back to On - any ideas please?

Hello and welcome to the forum.
Try leaving the slider on but just backspace out whatever is there, but.......
Before closing and reopening the mail app, immediately send yourself or someone else an email with a blank signature.
Test that and see after closing and opening the signature remains blank / empty.
IF that seems to work as expected, then.....
Try turning the slider to off, send another email while in that state, close and open and see if the setting is maintained.

Just followed your instructions to the letter - it works! Backspacing out the text in the signature box does indeed solve the problem.
Many thanks for the great advice!

OK.... and thanks for the reply.
Glad you were able to resolve your problem.
One would think that turning the dog-gone slider off would be sufficient

Another MS placebo button. It's obvious they want users to advertise the fact that the users preference is MS mail.
