I just loaded a Windows 7 Home OS and it was a veritable PITA. Updates from hell. Programs not responding. Drivers missing. Then, I loaded Windows 10 Home from a disk that I bought. What a joy to load. Fast. No updates required. No drivers to load. It just works. I loaded Chrome, Malwarebytes, Ccleaner, VLC, and Acronis. I cleaned up by deleting some programs using Ccleaner, ran a scan with Malwarebytes, and this pc is working flawlessly. I just had to post this as I am so glad to have this wonderful OS.

Glad to hear that at least someone has had some good luck.
There's probably a whole bunch of folks out there who wish they could say the same.

I still wanted a Windows 7 for some older games I have but Windows 10 is my preferred go to operating system. I just got a new SSD and loaded Windows 7 which after the updates and drivers were loaded without a hitch is operating flawlessly. I have a backup internal SSD with Windows 10 as well but it has a problem with the printer which will be a rainy day project.

All is not perfect however as the latest build (update) failed to load to Windows 10. Still, no complaints as Windows 10 is behaving nicely.

I saw your mention of that in another thread and frankly that concerns me, as I do not understand why.
Do you have your machine configured to dual boot per your mention above of an additional internal SSD running Windows 10?
Have you considered, with only the single Windows 10 hard disk attached, using the installation media to perform a clean install of the latest build, rather than an upgrade, or does that represent to much re-installing of software and such.

I am using an individual ssd for each build and manually changing the cables. One of the Windows 10 builds was a clean install but it will not load the latest update nor could I load a Windows 10 upgrade to Windows 7 via the Microsoft media tool to that board/drive combo. The motherboard is modern with an Intel H97 Express Chipset and the BIOS has been factory updated to a later version.

No, it would not bother me to do more installing. I am swapping my 32 bit Windows 10 Home for Windows 10 Home 64 bit this week so will be installing that to both my Windows 10 ssd's and could do clean installs of the new build while I am at it. I would appreciate assistance if you are offering.

In the other thread I used your link to attempt an install of the latest build but as I said it failed.
