Is there any way to make an installation disk for Windows 10?

I have my backups and such, but I want a disk where I can scrub the hard disk and reinstall from the beginning.

Can we do this?

Yes there is, You can go to recovery and create a disk. You also can do this using a Win 7 Recovery disk. I have done so in the past without any problems.

You can also Download a free version of Macrium Reflect from here:

http://www.macrium.com/reflectfree.aspx

Then you can create a rescue disk from that and when you restore a back up, it can wipe the drive clean first.

Thank you so much. I now have a recovery disk. I will take a peek at that link.
Again thanks for the excellent reply.

You can test your new disk to see if it will actually work when the time comes. Have your BIOS "load from disk" and insert your media disk first and then at the appropriate prompt load the recovery disk and view the result. If successful, you will rest easy knowing that you have a functioning backup.

If you never test it you will not know for sure.

In addition, see this post and in particular see the Moderators (Trouble) remarks.
