SOLVED Windows 10 Home...emoji keyboard shortcut

Thanks for the privilege of becoming a member..

I have a problem with getting Windows + . shortcut or any other means of bringing up/using the emoji keyboard to post in any site, F.B. or other...Not a big issue but do enjoy them. Once in a while it will function, but mostly just freezes pc, sorta. The thing is, it has near always been this way, even before any updates. It malfunctions in three different browsers, Edge,Firefox, and Chrome. I have researched to my limits.. Any help would be greatly appreciated...I hate not being able to fix, accomplish things...Jim

where did/do you get the emojis from?, that might have something to do with it?.

Thanks Wolfie, for your reply...The emoji`s are the ones that come with the w-10 feature update. I think I have finally found the culprit. Seems it was the Taskbar freezing all it`s functions. and shortcuts. Seems you have solved your problem, but, I have to admit, I am still puzzled as to what was the nature of the problem?

Did you, perhaps, mean "Icons"

or these, (emoji's)
