Windows 10 download stuck...not moving....

I ve got windows 7..i purchaised windows 10 from microsoft webside..All ok till get the stage "
Getting updates" checking updates... kepp waiting about 6 hours...it is stuck... not doing anything.. can anybody help please...

I've found it sometimes helps to start over but Uncheck the item where it wants to check for updates, can do that later.

I have just finally got the latest windows update to work after hours of trying, I found that when it got to 33% it switched off the network adapter, and so couldn't continue and just sat on 33% indefinitely, I have an external adapter and so just unplugged it and plugged it back in and away it went, maybe the same problem?
