Hello all,

I have upgraded an Intel NUC PC to Windows 10 (a fresh install). However, when the PC has booted and I should be at the log in screen, all is see is a black screen. I can see the mouse cursor, so the monitor is working and Windows has loaded, but I can't do anything.

Can anyone advise? I can't do anything other than move the mouse cursor at the black screen.

Try pressing Ctrl + Alt + Delete keys to see whether that brings up the lockscreen or Sign-in page

Yes! If I press that combination, the log in screen appears. If I don't, there's nothing on the screen.

This is great as a work around, but is it something I can fix?

I did a refresh of my Windows 10 installation and this problem is now fixed. Thank you for your help, as this enabled me to log in and start to fix it.
