Win10 Home can't write to local appdata

Hi, I have a problem with my application not being able to write to the local appdata folder. This seems to be an issue with win10 home, not with win10 pro or win7 pro. Anyone have any clue on how to solve this issue ?

What application is it that you find cannot write data to the appdata folder?

BioPDF
in the directory c:\users\xxx\AppData\Local\PDF Writer\PDF Writer - bioPDF\
where xxx stands for the login name of the current user
