Why does my laptop keep restarting repeatedly after updating Windows online, and how can I stop this from occurring?

Whenever I try to update Windows 10 online, my laptop goes through the update process, but afterward, it restarts multiple times in quick succession. This continuous cycle of restarts can persist for hours, making my laptop unusable until it stabilizes. I'm uncertain about the cause, but I suspect it might be linked to compatibility issues or incomplete installations during the update process.
Additionally, I experience crashes when running various apps and games. I'm unsure if this is a fault with Windows 10 or with my laptop.
