I updated Edge to the latest version, and after restarting the browser to complete the update, it immediately redirected me to another page that took forever to load. The URL was something like "go[.]microsoft[.]com fwlink" with a specific ID.
i regret closing it quickly once it loaded because I didn't read the page properly. I think it said something like "Microsoft Edge is your new AI-powered browser" (though I might be jumbling the words).
I assume this was a safe redirect since it only happened after the update. Normally, I don't update manually; I let the task update Edge for me. But what is "go microsoft com fwlink" even for?
