Web page shut down

When I open a web site in chrome it opens and immediately shuts down.

uninstall and reinstall Chrome. Uninstalling and reinstalling Chrome can fix problems with your search engine, Flash, pop-ups, updates, or other problems that might have prevented Chrome from opening.

Personally, I'd go with uninstalling and reinstalling
