I have just done a W10 'reset this PC'. It has booted up W10 but I have no mouse or keyboard so can't input any commands. I need urgent help to get my PC back.

Update. I have just plugged the wireless kbd transponder into a Belkin USB adapter and now the kbd and mouse are working. My PC is a 2009 DELL Inspiron 545 so is quite old. Any ideas why the rear USB socket was not working? At least I can move forward now.

One reason for them not working is whether USB 2 [black] or USB 3 [blue] ports are being used, most BIOSes [on the motherboard] support USB 2 but USB 3 requires drivers which don't load until the Operating System is running. Printers also can be affected.

They are available for either USB 2 or USB 3, I shop Amazon a lot as it's convenient. This is not an advertisement but I use Amazon Prime, the subscription saves me a lot of money with its free shipping, especially when some things have higher shipping cost than what the product cost. Can't avoid Sales Tax since Net Neutrality was done away.
