Hi, I've just made the upgrade to Windows 10 and having some problems with both my USB DACS... one Typc-C the other micro B. When I connect them and start streaming Netflix, Amazon, YT or even streaming from Tidal i get video and sound for 5 seconds and then the internet cuts out... tried both Ethernet and wifi, both crash. Only way to vget them back on is thru restarting. I'm using up to date drivers for both DACs and the drivers for the W10 seem up to date too in the device manager.

I really need a quick fix as I review earphones and headphones as a side hobby and rely on my DACs for the best sound. Laptop sound card is awful.

Help MUCH appreciated.

It says I'm fully up to date. It's driving me mad. I put the DAC in, it shows up straight away in the Sound Panel. I play a video on YT, sound and video fine... then if i click to a different part of the video or click on another video BAM... internet gone until i restart. Every time.

I'm running an Acer Aspire e1-571 and the drivers on the website are all for W8.1

I have three different DACs and the same happens to every one of them.

Hi,

open Control Panel > Device manager and right click on the network adapter, then search for new drivers automatically for it (Update drivers), don't open any web browsers or other web apps!. :)

I used a programme called Driver Booster and seemed to be up to date with all drivers after they found them. Could kaspersky security data escort adapter have anything to do with it? I used to use McAfee and had no problems.

It is possible that Kaspersky is causing problems but I don't know, I only use Windows Defender myself and don't have any problems with drivers, I certainly wouldn't use a 3rd party app to update my drivers, I go to the websites and download each package as and when needed!. :)

Was hoping to have found a fix to this but sadly still the same. Keeps cutting out and then troubleshoots by resetting network adapter. tried using all the old Acer ones for both the WAN and Realtek audio.

I thought it might be Kaspersky so I'll try go stop it and use the Windows defender and FW in meantime.

Never noticed this but the internet cuts out even when I'm just playing audio or video files from my desktop.

Check your firewall settings just in case you may have something there that is causing the drop-outs!. Did you remove Kaspersky?. :)
