SOLVED Twitter app crashes after trying to login

Hi,

I recently changed my computer account folder from 'CosmicEternity' to my real name, made the appropriate changes in the registry editor's profile list and now, for some reason, Twitter fails to login and crashes after trying to do so, with a feedback message given after I try.

Could somebody help? Is it related to the account name switch?

If it happened at the same time as the switch, then it could well be.

Is it possible to just uninstall the app, then re-install it? It may have unknown registry dependencies that will be re-created when re-installing. .

Yeah, I tried re-installing the app, but this still comes up:

Probably an issue with an app update, I suspect, but could well be my account. I'll make a testing account on my computer and see.

I made a testing account and it worked just fine, so something in the account profile was broken. I decided to make a new account for myself and delete the old one (obviously backing everything up), so now I can use Twitter again.
